Spot the better bullet
Which one gets a call back?
From page 7 · Duty to work
Three ways to write the same line about email marketing. Which one gets you a call back?
A journey is a series of messages that sends itself, like a welcome series. A campaign is a one-time send.
Pick the line you’d put on your CV.
This describes the job, not what you did in it. Every applicant could write it.
Better: it says what you did. But there’s no number, so nothing shows you know what happened.
That’s the one. It says what you did, gives a number, and says what it was compared with.
Why it works
A hiring manager skims for work you did and data you understand. A number with a comparison shows both in one line.
The kit’s rule
“A duty tells me what the chair was for. Work tells me what you did in it. A number tells me you know what happened.”
That’s one page of the kit. See it as it is:

A finished CRM portfolio, page by page
Most fresher applications are a CV and nothing else. The kit includes a finished eight-page portfolio for a made-up fresher, built on practice data, so you can see exactly what to make.
What you get
- A cover with three numbers a recruiter reads first
- Three case studies: a welcome journey, a win-back plan, a campaign report
- A page on a test she chose not to call a win
- A page on the data problems she fixed before counting

Questions, answered
I’ve never worked in CRM. What do I even put on my CV?
Projects, internships, a college fest, a page you ran or a family business, written as work with a result. The kit shows how to label practice work honestly so it counts without pretending to be a client.
Do I need the CRM Practice Projects for this?
The kit is built to go with them: the 20 findings in the bullet bank and the sample CV and portfolio all come from the Practice Projects. Without them, the layout, bullet formulas and checks still work, but you’ll write your own findings from your own projects.
How long does it take?
The kit plans four weeks, one part a week: CV, then LinkedIn, then the portfolio, then applying. If you’re short on time, do the CV first.
Will my CV get past the software that screens CVs?
Many companies run CVs through an applicant tracking system before a person reads them. The kit gives you the checks that keep yours readable: one column, standard headings, real text and the words from the job post where they’re true.
What should my LinkedIn headline say?
Lead with the job title you want, then the words recruiters type, like retention, lifecycle and cohorts. The kit gives three headline shapes and what to avoid, like “Student at” or “Aspiring”.
Is this for sales CRM roles like Salesforce?
No. This is marketing CRM: retention, lifecycle and the messages a brand sends on WhatsApp, email, SMS and push. If the job is about pipelines and Salesforce admin, this isn’t the right kit.
What do I get, and in what format?
A 26-page PDF guide, an 8-page sample portfolio PDF, a CV template and a bullet bank that open in Word or Google Docs, and a portfolio template for PowerPoint or Google Slides. The folder link arrives by email.
Why is it free right now?
The first 100 learners get it free as the founding batch, in return for one honest review after a week. After that it sells for ₹299.
Do I get a certificate?
No. For your CV, the kit suggests free, real ones you’ve actually finished, like Google Analytics on Skillshop. But proof of work beats a wall of certificates.
