WhatsApp marketing services we run.
Most brands use WhatsApp for broadcasts and order updates. The revenue sits in what happens between them: the message that brings a cart back, the reminder when a customer is about to run out, the reason a lapsed buyer has to return.
- Journeys. Welcome, browse and cart reminders, cross-sell, replenishment and win-back, each triggered by what the customer did. See how a WhatsApp abandoned cart flow is built.
- Broadcasts. A campaign calendar with fewer, better sends, aimed at the people still reading.
- Templates and approvals. Copy written to pass Meta's review, filed in the right category, and appealed when Meta moves a utility template to marketing. More in my WhatsApp message template guide.
- Delivery and quality. Frequency, targeting and number health, so messages arrive. Read why WhatsApp messages stop delivering.
- Setup. WhatsApp Business API onboarding, platform choice, Shopify or app events, opt-in capture and fallbacks to email and SMS.
- Replies. Quick-reply buttons and an AI assistant with a human handoff, so customer replies get answered and keep your number healthy.
- Reporting. Revenue per journey and per broadcast, not open rates.
Who this is for.
A fit: D2C brands on Shopify or their own site, and consumer apps, that already have customers and want more of them to come back. It suits brands that already send on WhatsApp and know it should earn more.
Not a fit: bulk messages to bought lists, or sending through unofficial tools. If your brand needs acquisition before retention, you'll hear that on the first call.
Proof, not promises.
Cumin Co. Fewer than one in four WhatsApp messages were being delivered, and the rate was slipping every month. With no new offers and no new vendor, we completed the business profile and applied for the verified tick, moved customer replies onto the marketing number, capped marketing at two messages a week and moved sends into journeys triggered by what customers did. Delivery went from 23% to 44% in a month. Read the Cumin Co case study.
Healthify. Lapsed premium users used to get one template with one offer. We built messages from each user's own progress, like weight lost and workout days, with fallbacks when data was missing. Same users, same channels, and revenue went up 79%. Read the win-back case study.
What WhatsApp costs.
Meta charges for each delivered template message. For an Indian number, a marketing message costs ₹0.8631 and a utility message ₹0.115, before 18% GST, as of October 2026. Your platform adds its own fee, and an agency fee sits on top of both.
Most WhatsApp bills we review have the same leaks: broadcasts to people who stopped reading, and order updates paying the marketing rate. The WhatsApp API pricing guide has the full rate card, and the WhatsApp pricing calculator shows what your messages should cost.

How to choose a WhatsApp marketing agency.
Whoever you hire, ask these before you sign.
- Do you only use the official API? Unofficial bulk tools get numbers blocked. The answer should be an immediate yes.
- Can you show revenue, not reach? Ask for a case study with a before and after, and what the brand earned.
- Who writes the messages? Template copy decides both approval and the category Meta charges for.
- What happens when delivery drops? A good answer covers frequency, targeting and fallbacks, not just sending more.
- Who will run my account? Find out whether the person on the sales call is the person doing the work.
Questions brands ask.
What are WhatsApp marketing services?
They are the work of selling and keeping customers on WhatsApp: setting up the WhatsApp Business API, building automated journeys like cart reminders and win-back, writing and approving templates, sending broadcasts, handling replies with an assistant and a human handoff, and reporting the revenue each message brings in.
What does a WhatsApp marketing agency do?
It plans, writes and runs the messages a brand sends on WhatsApp, and owns the results. Compound Lab also fixes delivery, because a message that never arrives earns nothing.
Which is the best WhatsApp marketing company in India?
The best one for you is the one that can show revenue from brands like yours. Ask for a case study with a before and after, check that they only use the official API, and find out who will run your account. Lists of top agencies are usually directories or ads.
How much does WhatsApp marketing cost in India?
There are two costs. Meta charges per delivered message: about ₹0.86 for a marketing message and ₹0.115 for a utility message to an Indian number, before 18% GST, as of October 2026. Then there is the platform you send from and the agency's fee. Compound Lab quotes after a first call, once we know your volume and goals.
Do you use the official WhatsApp Business API?
Yes, always. Every message goes through the WhatsApp Business Platform, via your CRM or a Meta business solution provider. Unofficial bulk-sending tools break WhatsApp's rules and put your number at risk of being blocked.
Which platforms do you work on?
Kwik Engage, WebEngage, MoEngage and CleverTap, and the WhatsApp tools inside other CRM platforms. If you have no platform yet, choosing one is the first step.
Can you get my business the green tick on WhatsApp?
Nobody can promise it. Meta decides who gets a verified badge. We can help you prepare and apply, but a good WhatsApp programme doesn't depend on it.
Do you run email and SMS too?
Yes. WhatsApp works best as one channel in a retention system, with email and SMS as fallbacks when a WhatsApp message is not delivered or not read. Compound Lab runs all three, plus RCS and push for apps.
Do you work with brands outside Bengaluru?
Yes. Compound Lab is based in Bengaluru and works with brands across India. The work happens on calls and inside your CRM.
